The Government of Nicaragua continues its work in Shanghai, participating in the Seventh Edition of the China International Import Fair (CIIE).
The Nicaraguan Delegation is made up of Comrade Laureano Ortega Murillo, Presidential Advisor for the Promotion of Trade, Investments and International Cooperation; General Oscar Mojica, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure; Comrade Karina Mejía, Director of the Secretariat of Investments and Exports of Nicaragua, and Comrade Michael Campbell, Ambassador of Nicaragua.
On its second day of activities, the Delegation participated in the inauguration of the Nicaraguan pavilion, sharing with 31 representatives of Nicaraguan companies.
In this space, meetings were held with Comrade Pang Baoguo, Secretary of the Communist Party of Liaoning and President of the Chinese Council of Investment and Trade of Laioning and with Comrade Jin Xiangiun, Governor of the Shanxi Province.
On the margins of the Fair, they met with Comrade Yu Huijiao, President and founder of the large Chinese logistics company YTO Express, with whom a Regional Project in Nicaragua has been proposed.
Later, a meeting was held with Comrade Zhu Yongxiang, President of the textile company TEXHONG, which operates in the Free Trade Zone Regime of Nicaragua, which will be expanding its operations in 2025 and also developing Photovoltaic Energy Projects.
Finally, they met with the HUADIAN Company, which is developing studies for the Tumarín and Mojolka Hydroelectric Projects together with POWERCHINA.
